OTAKU STUDIOS ships worldwide from London. Every piece is made-to-order, hand-finished, wrapped in recycled tissue, and packed in plastic-free mailers.

Production time (made-to-order)

Every order is hand-finished after you place it. Production takes 5–7 business days from the date of purchase. You'll get an email with tracking the moment your piece ships.

Larger drops or commissioned pieces may take longer — we'll always email you if your order needs more time than the standard window.

Shipping rates & estimated transit times

Shipping is added on top of production time. Total time from order to doorstep:

United Kingdom

Calculated at checkout. Typical UK shipping is 1–3 business days after dispatch. Total UK time: 6–10 business days.

International — Standard

  • £6.99 · 7–14 business days transit · FREE for orders £80 and over
  • Total time door-to-door: 12–21 business days

International — Express

  • £11.99 · 5–7 business days transit
  • Total time door-to-door: 10–14 business days

We currently ship to 42 countries across the UK, EU, US, Canada, Asia, Japan, Australia, UAE, and more. Don't see your country at checkout? Email us — we'll usually find a way.

Carriers & tracking

UK orders ship via Royal Mail or DPD. International orders ship via Royal Mail International Tracked or DHL eCommerce. You'll receive a tracking number by email the moment your label is created.

Customs, duties & import taxes (international)

Orders shipping outside the UK may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or VAT charged by the destination country on arrival. These charges are not included in our prices or shipping cost — they are the buyer's responsibility.

If you refuse a parcel at customs and it's returned to us, we'll refund the order value minus original shipping and any return fees we incur.

Lost or delayed parcels

If your tracking hasn't moved for more than 10 business days (UK) or 21 business days (international), email hello@otakustudios.store with your order number — we'll open an investigation with the carrier and either replace, remake, or refund.

Wrong address

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We're not responsible for parcels delivered to incorrect addresses entered at checkout. Spot a mistake? Email us within 1 hour and we'll fix it before production starts if we can.

Sustainability note

All packaging is recycled, recyclable, or compostable. No virgin plastic in the chain. Waste nothing.
